The Australasian Journal of Construction Economics and Building is a peer reviewed, open access publication for original research into all aspects of the economics and management of building and construction, quantity surveying and property management. The journal provides free and open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and supports a Creative Commons Attribution Agreement to further assist the dissemination of ideas.
In addition to peer reviewed articles the journal publishes opinion pieces from leading professionals and academics as well as book reviews and supports discussions and comments on its content between issues on a discussion board.
Australasian Journal of Construction Economics and Building is a joint initiative of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) and the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), which has been adopted by the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors, the New Zealand Institute of Building (NZIOB), the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV).
