2011 was a successful year for CIB related events all over the world, many of them of great international recognition and contributing in setting the global agenda in their respective field. A selection of 11 CIB and 17 CIB Co-sponsored Conferences in 2011 is given.
The deadlines for abstract submission and abstract acceptance notification have been extended because there have been some initial problems with the suggested abstract template download. These problems have been remedied and a link to the new file for download is provided.The CIB Meetings Database contains thousands CIB and non-CIB related meetings of potential importance to Building and Construction worldwide. Per meeting - daily updated - information is given on a meeting's date, location, organisers, sponsors and contacts. If available links are provides to a designated conference website and/or downloadable conference brochures/flyers.

- Go to database: via a search page that allows for a search amongst all registered (both past and future and also both CIB and non-CIB related) thousands of meetings, on a meeting's:
- date (year/month)
- location (region/country/city)
- (name/title of the) event
- (name of the) organiser
- type of meeting: for future meetings only: selection options:
- CIB meetings only, incl. both CIB commission meetings (in principle for members only) and open CIB events (conferences etc.).
- open meetings of the members of the Liaison Committee of International Associations of Civil Engineering (CIB, fib, RILEM, IABSE, IASS, ECCS)
- open meetings only: conferences etc, independent of who organiseses them, but thought of potential importance to Building and Construction
