TG63 - Disasters and the Built Environment: Report on the outcomes of 4 Webinars
CIB and UN-ISDR have staged a series of online seminars to look at key areas for intervention related to the growing risks of natural hazards in urban areas and identification of solutions to enable cities to grow in a safe and sustainable way. The integral webinar recordings can be accessed via the CIB website.
W069 - Residential Studies: Introducing the Renewed W069 and its New Joint Coordinator
The Commission's work programme is organized in four working groups that focus on theoretical and methodological approaches to housing qualities; transformation processes; future major challenges; and residential innovations and inventions. The new Joint Coordinator is Prof.Dr. Sten Gromark, Sweden.

Among the subthemes of the Conference are behaviour-based safety; design for safety; regulations and incentives for safety; safety culture; safety benchmarking; integration of productivity, quality and safety performance parameters; and safety and building information modelling.
W115 - Construction Materials Stewardship: 1st International Green Design Conference: Green Cities, Buildings and Products, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 27-30 September 2012
The conference aims to address the many inter-related aspects of the green design of cities, buildings and products from urban strategies, transport and mobility to social cohesion, waste management, and material and energy green strategies. This is the final call for abstracts.

The RMIT CIB Student Chapter Newsletter No. 2, 2012
2011 was a big first year for the RMIT CIB Student Chapter. A website and two newsletters have been created and presented at numerous conferences and forums. RMIT has been eager to move forward with social media as a way to connect and engage with others more widely through Facebook and Twitter.
