43rd International Symposium of CIB W062 Water Supply and Drainage for Buildings

Climate change is putting the availability and quality of (drinking) water under pressure throughout the world. This increasingly results in initiatives concerning alternative sources (rainwater and grey water) to replace the (drinking) water used in sanitary appliances. August 23 - 25, TVVL, in collaboration with CIB, will offer a stage to scientists and technical experts working in the field of supplying water, drains and sanitary provisions for buildings.

In May 2017 the CIB Programme Committee appointed Tore Haugen as New Coordinator of the CIB Commission W070 – Facilities Management and Maintenance. He will replace Prof Dr Keith Jones who will end his work as a coordinator.

CIB Symposium: Resilience to Climate Change and Flooding

In association with the Global Disaster Resilience Centre (GDRC) and the CIB, the School of Art, Design and Architecture at the University of Huddersfield organised a one-day symposium on climate change and flooding on the 6th of April 2017, at the Sir George Buckley Theatre, University of Huddersfield.

CIB Research Roadmap Call for Case Studies

TG90- Information Integration in Construction was set up in 2014. One of its outputs is a Research Roadmap, which will formulate an agenda for new R&D projects and/or initiatives that focus on information and knowledge integration in construction. Its scope is limited to small-to-medium projects, which generate the bulk of the construction output globally.
