TG72 - Public Private Partnership: Built Environment Project and Asset Management, Special Issue: "Public Private Partnerships in Transport: Theory and Practice" - Call for Papers
Topics for papers may include: the decision-making process for PPP selection and award; implementation and operation for PPP projects in the transport sector; PPP performance in the transport sector; and institutional issues concerning PPPs in the transport sector.

The main subject of the meeting was to start a comparison of "Assessment Tools on Urban Sustainability", which is considered one of the most competitively progressing technological fields with diversity among research groups internationally, in relation to the subject of urban planning and sustainability.

The CIB Board has appointed Prof.Dr. David Boyd as the new Joint Coordinator of CIB W118. Professor Boyd is Director of the Centre for Environment and Society at the Birmingham City University, United Kingdom. His research interests include knowledge-event management and philosophy of expertise.

TG77 - Health and the Built Environment: CIB Webinar on WHO Guidelines and the Built Environment, 27 March 2012
At the Webinar WHO officers will present recent new WHO health guidelines and selected international experts on building and the built environment will assess the applicability of these guidelines in the built environment and the possible impact from such application.
W099 - Safety and Health in Construction: International Conference on Modelling and Building Safety, 10-11 September 2012 in Singapore
Amongst others the Themes and Topics of the conference are: behaviour-based safety, design for safety, regulations and incentives for safety, safety culture, safety benchmarking, integration of productivity, quality and safety performance parameters and safety and building information modelling.

The aim of this competition is to showcase the integrated design and collaborative features of BIM in enhancing safety on sites. Students and professionals are encouraged to use BIM to add the Safety Dimension for monitoring and improving safety performances on construction projects.
