Roadmap on the Future Research Needs of Tall Buildings: First Questionnaire on Priority Research Topics
The aim of this questionnaire is to create an extensive agenda for necessary future tall building research in order to advance the typology in the coming years. In order to achieve these ambitions, expert opinions through an on-line survey are being gathered.

Introducing New Board Members
The CIB General Assembly elected two new Board Members for the remainder of the 2010-2013 term. Mr. Theuns Knoetze, South Africa succeeds Ronnie Khoza, CIDB, South Africa, as Guest of the CIB Board. Mr. Pieter Burghout, New Zealand replaces Chirs Kane, BRANZ, New Zealand.
Towards a New Fee and Membership System
At the 2013 CIB General Assembly the current CIB Board envisages to propose a new fee and membership system. Different member categories will be offered different members benefits, for which they will pay a different fee. Packages of member benefits will be elaborated in detail.
New CIB Regional Office in Dubai - CIB MENA Research Network
CIB has established a Regional Office in Dubai in support of a new regional network for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This new network (CIB MENA) should enable CIB to work closely with local construction industries across the region and its stakeholders.

Abstracts for this joint W078, W096, W102 and IDDS Group Session should address one or more of the the following sub-themes: the integrated architectural design; design process integration and collaboration; and improving societal performance. The Call for Abstracts closes on June 30.
