TG83 - e-Business in Construction: Progress of Activities - October 2012
TG83 has developed a Web Portal for Construction, produced a special issue of the ITcon journal, and as outreach activities, had special meetings as part of conferences in July 2011 in Sri Lanka, in October 2011 in France and in August 2012 in Brazil.

The webinar presents the latest thinking on how cities manage their resources, with recorded and downloadable presentations on resource efficiency, assessment of eco-efficiency and cities in developing countries.
Sustainable Construction: SB13-14 Conference Series - Website Launched
The Organizing Committee of the Sustainable Building Conferences has officially launched its website. The site will communicate tools for all countries and regions that are organizing conferences, and be a reference for all those interested in the latest news and advances on sustainable building worldwide.

The conference topic 'Assessment, Upgrading and Refurbishment of Infrastructures' has a global interest. The deadline for submitting Full Papers has been set at October 15, 2012. The Organising and Scientific Committee decided to give the floor during the conference to all accepted papers.

Winner 2012 CIB Sebestyen Award: CIB Student Chapter at the University of Salford Manchester
The winning project will investigate the economic impact of BIM on project performance and its overall impact on adding value to the AEC community. The research includes: literature review, interviews with industry professionals, development of a cost benefit analysis matrix to quantify socio-economic benefits.
