TG89 - Construction Mediation Practice: Introducing a New Task Group and its Coordinators: Dr Deniz Artan Ilter and Dr Andrew Agapiou
The CIB PC has established the New Task Group TG89 on Construction Mediation Practice as successor of the former Task Group TG68 and appointed Deniz Artan Ilter, from the Istanbul Technical University, Turkey and Andrew Agapiou, from the University of Strathclyde, UK as the Joint Coordinators.

CIB Priority Theme - Sustainable Construction: Launch of the 2016-2017 Cycle of International Conferences on Sustainable Built Environment - Request for Expression of Interest for Global SBE2017
The organisers request non-binding Expression of Interest (EOI) by February 14 for the holding of a global conference on sustainable built environment to be held in 2017 (SBE17 Global Sustainable Building and Construction Conference), as part of the on-going Sustainable Built Environment Conference series.

Many a "cotton girl" has walked over the bridge in the centre of Tampere in the 1800s when the Finlayson cotton factory employed nearly half the population of Tampere, the venue of the CIB WBC in 2016. The old factory buildings still exist, and offer a unique glimpse into the history of industrial architecture.
