In July 2017 the CIB Programme Committee appointed Dr Michael Lacasse and Prof Jorge M.C.L. de Brito as new Joint Coordinators of the Working Commission W080 – Prediction of Service Life of Building Materials and Components.

This special issue explores the wider impacts of digitization and building information modeling (BIM). The use of these tools and information is transformative, often in unanticipated ways. CIB Sebestyén Future Leaders Award 2017
CIB Student Chapters are invited to submit a proposal for a project for the 2017 CIB Sebestyén Future Leaders Award. Preference will be given to proposals for projects with defined outcomes that will contribute to one or more of CIB's current Priority Themes: Sustainable Construction, Integrated Design and Delivery Solutions and Resilient Urbanization.
